Welcome to the official home site of the Harley-Davidson Riders Club Great Britain. Probably the best Club in Europe for Harley-Davidson riders.
The club was established in 1949 when a few like minded riders got together in the White Lion pub in Surrey.
Now, over 70 years later it has become a National club with a membership of over 2,200 across this green and pleasant land and correspondents worldwide.
The step on the ladder for many is registering on the discussion Forum. This will give you access to a vast amount of knowledge that exists here. Unlike some Harley clubs we also include Buells, the Aermacchi HDs of the seventies and the MT series too. So it’s not all just big twins and ape hangers, but we have that too.
You’re welcome to use the website as a guest, but if you own a Harley-Davidson, for a small annual fee, you can be a member of the biggest and oldest independent Club in the UK.
There are regions of the Club throughout the Country with meetings most weeks. It’s a great way to pass some time and get to know the like-minded people in your area. This will then springboard into ride-outs some weekends and then also a full programme of rallies throughout the summer. We encourage everyone to come along and meet us in person, club member or not. There is always a warm welcome reserved for new faces and old where ever and whoever you are.

Why Join Us?
The question we get asked a lot is “So why should I be a member of your club?” Well, the benefits of membership are an added bonus. Not only is there access to the Forum and information, there is also the following;
● A club insurance scheme
● Club discounts at certain suppliers
● Affiliations to Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) and the British Motorcyclists Federation (BMF)
● A free* tool loan scheme exclusively for members (*the postage has be to covered but you get the idea)
● A quality bi-monthly magazine available as both an electronic download or good old fashioned paper to read in the bath
● Access to members only areas on the forum
and all for just £31 a YEAR! (First Year is £31.00 plus a one off £10.00 admin charge)
The camaraderie and friendship the club inspires is something else. From simple message of birthday greetings from a name you may only know on a screen to staggering around a rally field together.
Essentially the club is what you make it and let’s face it bigger is always better.
We have three classes of membership:-
Full membership (£31 a year) - you must own a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Has the right to vote at general meetings; can serve on the Committee; may attend rallies, and bring one guest into rallies at the reduced membership rate (to qualify as a guest, the person in question MUST arrive as a pillion passenger, or sidecar passenger, with the full member rider); receives the bi-monthly Club magazine the Harleyquin.
Associate membership (£15 a year) - must be the spouse or permanent partner of a Full Member; has the right to vote at general meetings; may attend rallies unaccompanied at the reduced membership rate; can serve on the Committee; does not receive a copy of the Harleyquin.
Child membership [£3.00 a year] – applies up to and including the age of 18 and must be a relative of a Full Member; no voting rights; cannot serve on the Committee, cannot attend rallies alone.
