Indian summer has carried over into autumn down here, so in temps of 28C/82F just did a 500-mile weekend with some mates, but this time on the 1982 Sturgis. It ran flawlessly, and - despite being cosseted for 5yrs on a 2019 Road Glide - I found it surprisingly comfortable and very enjoyable to ride. Fairly smooth too, though i didn't go faster than 65mph. The bike just turned over 27,000 miles total during the run.
^^ in my GF's garage Sunday afternoon, 60 miles from my home.
Seeing as how it has rained soooo much for soooo long back here, such that Britain has actually floated to a different position on world maps we officially hate you right now....
