Mathewsons Auction WL and UL

Even though prices are dropping I would have thought the estimates to be a bit on the low side.......be interesting to see how these end up

Very little sells from there at anything other than higher end prices
like the cars and stuff but cant stand that Derek Tw@t

That 45 is very distinctive...it was this Club's 45 legend John MacRae (RIP)'s civvy workhorse. I thought Ken Lee bought it when John passed?

Can't agree on the Derek comment, I enjoy listening and watching the whole family, he is a font of all knowledge regarding the motor trade plus he took the village pub over and ran it as a non profit making business not sure if he still has it. Now Henry Cole now he pulled himself out of a drug fuelled gutter which I really admire him for and I enjoy his programmes but I sit and watch telling him he is a dick/knob take your pick but even though he provides 2 wheel viewing he spoils many an episode with his childish antics plus I would rather let Halfords spin a spanner than Henry thank god he has Alan and Sam alongside him

Both were absolute bargains by the look of it. Eight grand would struggle to get you a basket case 45 today, and fourteen for a complete UL is a steal.
That 45 was one of the best around. I don't know if you remember John Mac (RIP) attending V&S at Fire and Tender several times on it? I rode locally with him several times and he didn't hang about on it.

I remember Pete Beer and I meandering gently down the Long Mynd on a V&S rideout, when we heard the unmistakeable bellow of a John McCrae with cooked brakes behind us, we split and he shot through the middle like a bloody Exocet!
