Can someone help my Mum?

My mum is in her late 70s and still very active, her Sister, my Aunt, is in her 80s and wheelchair bound.
They are looking for somewhere to stay at in a "pleasant" part of Yorkshire, in a hotel that must have wheelchair access, a restaurant, and a residents lounge, and is nice and quiet COST IS NOT AN ISSUE.(they are loaded)
oh and one more thing, it is preferable in an area where my Mum will be able to push the wheelchair, with a rather overweight lady in it.
Although they usually drive to places and then have a look.
I suggested Beverley, or Harrogate as a destination to base themselves at (they have "done" York many times) but they are open to suggestions.
Any suggestions gratefully recieved.
Thanks in advance.

How about Scarborough? http://www.scarborough.co.uk/

Lots of Hotels which specialise in catering for the older / disabled traveller, good shopping, loads to do for young and old.
Spa for 'oldies' music. Peasolme Park for a nice walk/push.
They film bits of Heartbeat and most of The Royal there. Not that your Mum would be interested, but my Mum lives there.
North Yorkshire Moors, complete with steam railway and activity weekends, (1940's in October), Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay are up the Coast, Filey is nice and flat down the coast as is Bridlington.
