Classic event for fundraising

MOTORCYCLE enthusiasts helped raise a record-breaking ?1,500 for a deserving cause at a classic vehicles show in Harborough.
The Naseby region of the Harley Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain held a show in aid of the Northamptonshire and Warwickshire Air Ambulance ? which covers Harborough district ? at Harborough Rugby Club.
The cash raised was the best in the 15-year history of the Harborough event.
On display were numerous customised bikes, hot rods and steam engines.
The event also included several live bands.
Hundreds attended included members of historical re-enactment group the Sealed Knot. Lee Goodfellow, area representative for the Harley Davidson Riders Club, said: ?We were so pleased that so many people came along and gave their support to our charity event.
?We raised ?1,500 for the air ambulance which is a record amount to date for our club.?
