If you don't use a VPN you can ignore this.

Q: How do you know if you use a VPN"
A: Trust me, you will know, you will have installed it

A huge security flaw in FireFox and Chrome browsers has been detected this week ? and you need to take action to protect yourself.This vulnerability is really serious and must be closed immediately.There are already the first reports that even when you are using TOR, your IP address can be detected.

To fix

Firefox
you should type into the address bar about:config

Choose media.peerconnection.enabled and set the value to ?false?. It is enough to click with the right mouse button on the entry and select ?switch? in the menu.

Chrome
Install this addon https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/webrtc-block/nphkkbaidamjmhfanlpblblcadhfbkdm

To Check
click on this link: https://diafygi.github.io/webrtc-ips/ if you see your IP address, then you are vulnerable

VPN = Virtual Private Network, a way of channelling individual traffic through a larger transmission "pipe"

Hi Roger - trying to do this but when you type about: config it says address not valid.?

done thanks........... my public and local IP address were visible. now just my public IP is visible im guessing that's okies \0/

With Firefox your local,public,and IPv6 should all be blank.
Go back in,and if it still says True,right click True and left click toggle,then re test.
