Hallo all....
In the process of renewing drive belt and sprockets on my XR1200x.

Except the bleddy nut on the front pulley is a bugger. (Yes I know it's eighty loosely and lefty tighty).

Thought I had a cunning plan G clamping the old belt to the swingarm to stop front sprocket (sorry "pulley") rotation... But when leaning on an extension bar it just ain't up to it.

Any heath Robertson solutions you gurus have come up with? Wanted to ride it tomorrow on a run more suited to speed and handling than heritage bimbling 🤠 Any suggestions gratefully received 🤝

So I shoulda done this job before dropping the wheel, old belt and old rear sprocket. 🤦‍♂️Live n'learn... Gna be a case of put all the new on bar front sprocket then try and loosen the bastid, slacken it all off and replace...
