Welcome to our Region’s Newsletter – a brief update on upcoming events, every two months, in between the publishing of the Harleyquin.
Of note this time are the following:
Region Meets are on this month – March and every month going forward. We had a bit of a lull, between the weather and some pub closures but now you can expect to meet up. Your Asst. Reps will post a reminder and any change to plans etc on FB in the week before each meet.
Shropshire – 2nd Thursday of the Month, 7pm, The Cock Inn, Hanwood Hall, Main Road, Hanwood, Shrewsbury SY5 8LY. IE – THIS Thursday and 14th April
North West Wales Coast – 2nd Sunday of the Month, 1pm, Bryn Arms, Coed-Y-Llwyn, Gellilydan, Blaenau Ffestiniog LL41 4EN. IE – Next Sunday and 10th April
North Wales – The Swan – 3rd Sunday of the Month 7pm, Swan Lane, Gwernymynydd, Mold CH7 4AT IE – 20th March and 17th April
The National Club’s AGM is on next Saturday 12th March at Harborough Town Football Club, Bowden’s Park, Northampton Rd, Market Harborough, LE16 9HF., at 12 midday. – We always have some of our region attend as it’s the chance to vote on Club business and hear what is going on. Al Lloyd will be presenting on the plans for our International Rally as well, so it’ll be good to support him.
If you can attend, please do so – we have region committee members leaving from Telford, Oswestry, and Nantwich, so watch out this week for posts on starting points and leaving times. The agenda is attached for your information, which includes who has been nominated to stand for national positions.
Club International Planning and Tickets
A planning group continues to meet to plan the Club’s International Rally which is on Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th June 2022. We will be at The Cock Inn before the Region meet on Thursday, so can update on latest decisions etc.
There are just less than100 tickets left, so if you are planning to attend – and we hope you are! – please buy your tickets NOW. You do not need PayPal – just a bank account, as you can pay as a guest. Tickets via:

There is NO PAY AT THE GATE, even for our members, so do not be disappointed.
Rally Season
April sees the H-DRCGB rallies start in earnest, with the Drovers’ Rally at Llandovery Rugby Football Club, hosted by Region 7 South Wales. Dates are Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th April. As a Region, this is one we always attend, so get the time booked off now. Tickets are £20; prepay or on the gate; and if you don’t want to camp, the town has some great B&Bs.
Nearer the time we will post leaving times and starting points on Facebook, so we can ride in together.
