After moving the carb from between the cylinders to forward facing when the Supercharger was fitted, the tickover screw extension was hanging out in the breeze. I asked Phil at Pro-Street Cycles if he could find a neater one for me and he found this which is a lot better.
Pro-Street Cycles are based near Northampton and now have some catalogues to browse online :D They are good to deal with too! :D

Re: Mikuni carb. tickover screw

Looks good Lynne!

Whereabouts in Northampton is Pro-Street or is it a secret? Website indicates mail order only:(

Who makes that aircleaner? It's the type of thing I'm looking for-not too bulky. Must flow well for the hypercharger.

Re: Mikuni carb. tickover screw

Pro-Street are in Weedon! The air cleaner came with the kit but Phil might be able to source similar..! :D

Re: Mikuni carb. tickover screw

Have you had the 'charger on the dyno yet Lynne ?

TC

PS. Met Phil at the King Billy, nice guy and Weedon is just round the corner from me - could prove expensive :D

Re: Mikuni carb. tickover screw

Have to change the oil and filter and then I'll sort out booking it in for a Dyno run - eek!! :D

Re: Mikuni carb. tickover screw

WOW,That looks like a pretty neat piece of kit:D I got an S&S carb on my '98 Softail and the tickover screw pokes out above and between the air cleaner and the tank,is there a place in UK that may sell a shorter one? or is it out with the dremel and just cut it myself:eek:

MERRY CHRISTMAS *EVERYONE*. DAVE.
