At the risk of massive derison from the iron-butts on this forum who will almost certainly suggest that I simply ride the bike rather than trailer it, lets just assume that I have a very good reason for this question.
I'm interested in the Motolug HDE trailer but I'm not sure that the maximum specified wheelbase of 175cm (wheel centre to centre) will be enough for my bobber which is more like 190cm.
Has anyone, or do you know anyone, who has managed to load a longer wheelbase onto the standard MotoLug HDE trailer, or who has managed to adapt it with minimum hassle?
I've already phoned the company direct, but while the nice lady tried to be very helpful, I didn't get a definitive answer, and I don't fancy riding the seven hour round trip to test it out unless I absolutely have to.
