So where this all leaves us is that we have a vacancy for a Rep to fill.
What we can do is co-opt an 'acting Rep' until such time as we can hold an election or the region AGM rolls around. Duties don't have to be that onerous -

- Publicise the region meets and any other events (you don't even have to go yourself, just make sure everybody knows what's happening)
- Welcome new members (you'll get an email from membership) and visitors to the Facebook pages (someone turned up from Basingstoke today)
- pass on any communications sent out from committee...
- beyond that, you can choose how active or inactive you wish to be...
