A day for all the family, harking back to the 50s and the early days of drag and sprint racing! Vintage motorcycles and hotrods recreating those California days after the second world war. Location: Deenethorpe Airfield, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN17 3AN
Pre ticket sales only, no payment on the gate.
The racing will take place at the southern end of the original south westerly runway, with a racers pit area on the apron, an additional showground for cars that are not racing, along with various vendors and music, making for a great family day.
Registration information for racers (100 maximum) 60 cars and 40 bikes: £55 each racer (plus £5 booking fee)
Spectators booking: £10 each spectator (plus £1 booking fee

Limited Saturday night camping: numbers to be confirmed.
Itinerary
07.30 am: Gates will open for racers.
08.00 am to 10.00 am: Scrutineering
09.00 am: Racers briefing.
09.00 am: Gates open for general admission.
10.00 am to 01.00 pm: Morning race session based on grudge racing, you call out who you would like to go up against and we will look to arrange it.
01.00 pm to 02.00 pm: Lunch for racers although there will be a slow race for those motorcyclists that wish to take part.
02.00 pm to 04.00 pm: Afternoon session of grudge racing, getting your ride ready for the final session.
04.00 pm to 05.00 pm: Fastest ride knock-out, for cars and bikes to race it out for the fastest of each. A grid of 16 over four rounds with the fastest taking the honours.
Volunteer Marshalls
If you would like to be part of the day but don't fancy just watching, we are looking for volunteers to help park, watch folks crossing the road, directing racers, finish line judges, directing in the pits and many other jobs throughout the day. You will receive a flat rate travel expense contribution, food and drink for the day and a memento of the event.
