Ben Garland Ride To The Tide Memorial Ride - Saturday August 12th
For those of you who are not doing Chill Out at the Lode, Region 14 will once again be taking part in the annual Ben Garland memorial ride whichtakes place on Saturday August 12th, departing from Trowbridge rugby club at 11:00am and making its way to Poole.
This is a large group ride where the number of riders taking part will be in the hundreds. We will simply be participating in the ride and not playing any part in the organisation of the ride. As with last year, we will try to ride as one group within the main group. It will get very busy at Trowbridge rugby club prior to the ride departing so we will aim to meet up at 9:45am at the Rugby club and try to park all of the R14 bikes in the same area of the car park.
It will also be very busy at the rides final destination of Poole waterfront, with parking places being at a premium for those that arrive at the back of the group. With this in mind, we are proposing that the R14 group will instead head to S Bomb when the main group arrives at Poole.
If the weather is being kind, we will stop off at a pub on the return journey and hopefully sit outside in the sunshine

Poole regrouping point - S Bomb Unit 3 Dee Way, Poole BH15 1JD - opportunity to grab lunch before making our way back.

This ride will be suitable for all levels of riding experience and abilities. The ride will be using marshals and outriders, so the majority of junctions and roundabouts are likely to be “blocked” to allow the group to pass through without stopping.
