Region Meets for July and August
Please check out the Events section on our FB page or the Calendar on the Forum for more details of the following activities. There is lots on, some of which are on the dates so hopefully you will find something that suits.

Region Meets for July and August
- North Wales (Coast): Four Crosses, Menai Bridge, Anglesey, LL59 5RP from 7pm on 1st Monday of the month. (Myrddin). 3rd July and 7th August.
- Shropshire: The Cock Inn, Main Road, Hanwood, SY5 8LY at 7pm on 2nd Thursday of the month. 13th July and 10th August.
- North Wales (West): White Lion in Machynlleth, 10, Pentrerhedyn St, SY20 8DN at 1pm on the 2nd Sunday of the month. (Sam) 9th July and 13th August.
- North Wales (East): The Swan, Gwernymynydd, Mold CH7 4AR at 6.30 on 3rd Sunday of the month. (Colin) 16th July and 20th August.

- This Saturday 8th July 10.00 is the Sycamore 1st ‘birthday’ at the Harley-Davidson Dealership in Wolverhampton. It looks like a few are interested. Pop in or arrange to meet up to ride in if you are too.
- This Sunday 9th July is our monthly Region Ride out, this time led by Adam and heading for a round trip into Gloucestershire to rendezvous with Region 25. Meet at Tony’s Diner, Quatford around 11am, earlier if you want breakfast. Leave around 11.30am. Down to Region 25’s Meet at The Hunters Inn, Longdon, GL20 6AR for about 12.45pm. If you want a carvery at the pub, let Adam know for numbers. It’s £15. https://www.huntersinn.co.uk/. Leave the pub around 2.15 to go across to Dom’s bike stop, Leominster for about 3pm. From Dom’s bike stop, head off up the A49 and split up as required.
- Sunday 15th July, day visit to HDC Wales Rally in Usk, Adam is planning on a run out to this rally on the Saturday, for anyone not attending Brent’s do or are in fear of their liver!
- Weekend of Sunday 13th – 16th July. Brent’s Birthday Bash – For those that know him – At the Tiddly Pub in Ellerdine Heath.
- Sunday 16th July 10.00, Ride In Bike Show at Thug Bikes, Unit 3, Dulson's Yard, on A53, Shrewsbury, SY4 4BU. Organised and run by Red, R29 member and owner of Thug Bikes Repair Centre.
- Weekend of 28 July– 30 July, West London Harley Riders 40th Burning Budgie Rally at Beaconsfield Town Football Club, Buckinghamshire, HP9 2SE. We will probably meet on the Friday morning at 10:00 the Quatt Cafe and head off from there. Adam Hill is your man for more details and will post them up nearer the time.
- Sunday 6th August Region 29 Annual Memorial Run, for all lost members and particularly Ray Needham who we lost this year. His son Colin will be joining us for the ride. This run will be led by Colin Turnbull this year. It will follow the same or similar route which we took for Arwel Jones' (RIP) memorial previously. This is a stunning ride through some of the best scenery and roads that our area has to offer. It will take in Bettws y Coed for lunch/cuppa. It will start from Wrexham at 10.00; for the main meet up at Rhug Estate, Corwen, LL21 0EH to be ready to leave at 11.00.
- Weekend of 18th- 20th August, White Rose Rally, Malton Rugy Club, YO17 7EY hosted by region 5, Yorkshire. A few of us are going to this one and we’ll post joining details for those that want to ride together a little nearer the time. Tickets are via PayPal at yorkshire@hdrcgb.org.uk £20 members, £25 non-members.
