WLC pix

Got a couple of shots to share with you, due to either fine detail or dark areas I don't think they would work in the 'Quin so we may as well enjoy them here. One is from past member and military vehicle enthusiast Jim Dowdall, because of the uniforms I suspect it shows occupation forces but being WLCs I am not certain who they are (but they are definitely on our side!). The other is a shot we didn't use years ago for Pete Grays obituary of him jumping his WLC at a re-enactment event - sorry, don't have any further details.

Really cool old photo's. I've got a couple of old Harley books that are just full of old stills documenting some of Harleys history. I think there is something very cool about some of the old Harleys

Showed the first shot to an ex-member who is heavily into the re-enactment scene and he says the uniforms are US non-combat items, the boots are pre-war (but still used) ones like Patton used to favour and they are wearing helmet liners - as in the yanks made one helmet size and various stiff compressed liners. He also feels it is post surrender, possibly on escort duty?
