Devon John’s 72nd birthday party at the Lower Lode Inn. A good turn out by the club at the Malvern Hills Rally and a great first evening catching up with old and new friends in the bar.

07:00 hours on Sunday morning and it’s time to ‘bail’ out for those who had to abandon their tents in the night. Having earlier rescued a stranded Harley rider, Sam the Landlady at the Lower Lode Inn kept everyone supplied with hot drinks throughout the night. What a star.

was a .litttle damp but you wont forget this one ,,

got up at 3am theres seemed tobe a bit a water about ,,, picked up tent before it got washed

best Malvern yet over 60 turned up and i think we have over £700 for the air ambulance ,,,, or is it air sea rescue

thanks to the 20 members of this club that enjoyed the weekend and wheel wash thrown in free !!!

Well done DJ (good turnout and money raised) despite the biblical flood, looks like you had a great birthday and all attending had a shared experience none of you will quickly forget! I take my hat off to you all - not many would ride in a monsoon, camp in a swamp and good on the pub owner for giving the half drowned sanctuary. Safe ride home to all.
