Advise needed

When playing music saved on my favourites, the music keeps stalling! (buffeting!) Also when going to to another page on a site its taking a while as before it was instant. This started a couple of days ago. Any help would be appreciated

Sounds lie you have a process running in the background, is the hard drive light flickering all the time. I have had this when ther is a hard drive virus scan going on.

One quick fix may be to go to an earler restore point if all else fails.
