Battery help

I've got my battery on the optimate. It's showing 13.9v but isn't going onto maintain. Is it ok or am I likely to need a new battery?

Dunno how yours works but my Oximiser won't click into maintain mode until the battery drops to 12.6v.
13.9v is what I'd expect from a brand new battery.

It was 11.9 when I put it on last night so it's been charging. I suppose I should have brought it in earlier and kept it charged over winter.

Likewise, when on maintain my battery indicates 12.6v

the problem come when your away and cant plug in ,
early morning on a camp site and you hit the button ,,,,
been there
