Not sure that this is really a vintage bike question but I’ve put the drag pipes back on my Shovel and there looking a little tatty. Anyone have a polish that they would recommend for black pipes?
for what it's worth.
i use zeebo/stovax graphite polish for cast-iron stoves on my painted silencers
it'll likely make them less 'black' and more gunmetal, but it works for me.
PJ1 spray paint is very good, a variety of finishes. Or if you want budget ,stove paint. You get a nice black finish with both rather than the dull grey you get with most exhaust paint.
