EFI to Carb Conversion

I am considering an EFI to Carb conversion on my 2008 883R and have been looking at the S&S Super-E Kit and the AMM-P3 Igniton unit. One question I have is how could this conversion effect emissions etc. when it comes to MoT time? Not very well clued up on these matters so any advise/comments welcome.
