I’ve got a XLH hugger ‘03 sportster, so goi my through an oil change, drained the old oil, new in, do I have to get a separate oil for the clutch? Or does it all mix thank you

You need Sportster transmission oil for the gearbox and primary.

Confused!!

On the basis you seem to be guessing, did you run the engine before draining the engine oil?

If you join HD-RCGB you gain access to the manuals for your bike.

From HD you have a choice of Formula+ or Heavy Synthetic Gear Oil. I believe you can even use their Syn 3 in the primary / transmission.
