fuel tank needed.

I've finally joined the glorious ranks of MT owners. nice little neglected project bike that needs some work. The first thing i need is a fuel tank as the one on it leaks like a sieve. i know theres a plastic one available but apart from the cost i was hoping to keep it original as possible at this stage. Does anyone have any ideas?
I'm sure there will other queries as the job goes on.

hi. thanks for the link but its gone past the weeping stage, there are holes you could fit a pencil through, i think its gone past a sealants capability! keep your ears out though please as i really want to keep the original type tank.

Hi Andy,

Not sure if you are already a member, but I would get on the MT Riders Club Forum HERE and put a request in the Wanted section as I am sure there will be some-one out there that can help.
