Arrangements are as follows:
Guns will be taken from the Funeral Directors in Hedge End to St James' Church West End, riders are welcome to meet at Tim's place from 12:30h, we will be leaving Tim's at 13:00h for the Funeral Directors to escort Guns to the Church. Southampton HOG will be meeting at Sainsbury's Hedge End and join on route. Those wishing to go directly to the church or travelling by car should arrive at the church before the service at 13:30h

Following the service there will be an escorted ride to the cemetery passing by a number of locations frequented by Guns during his life. Riders are welcome to join the ride, however the committal may be limited to family and close friends depending on numbers (will be decided at the church).
After the committal everyone is welcome to join family and friends for the wake at the The Brigadier Gerard, Horton Heath to celebrate the life of our good friend Guns.

Morning Patrick,
Yes may the Sun shine on the righteous,
I Got the day of work pat, and I will be there to pay my respects. 🏍.
Andy.

Guns funeral took place yesterday. About 70 bikes rode from Tim's place to the undertakers, there was a huge gathering at the church with another 20 or so bikes. The service and tributes were very moving and highlighted the many paths that Guns took in his life. After the service Guns made his final journey to the cemetery, a predetermined route requested by Guns through the villages he frequented socially and as a 'Bobby on the beat'. It was chaos at times, just as Guns would have loved. A fitting tribute RiP my friend.
