How to remove the rear fender on a 2009 fat bob?

Removing the fender to respray, got as far as sh@t the wiring goes through the fender! Any tips please
 
I suspect you will have to take the wires out of the plug before you can pull the loom through the hole in the Fender. There are soecific pick type tools to use but it is possible to use a small screwdriver or pin. There are different types of plugs and removal is slightly different for each one. Google/YouTube will have plenty of Vids. on how to do it.
Forgot to say, take picture of the Plug with the wires in situ before you remove them so you know where to replace them.
 
If you go on YouTube and type in 'Harley wiring pin removal' there will magically appear a raft of videos. You should be able to locate one that suits your bike. I found one for doing the indicators and switchgear. Quite easy once you get into it. (y)
 
On my 2010 Superglide, I just unplugged the loom from under the seat and then unbolted the rear fender and removed with the rear light loom.
you will have to unplug the indicators from the rear light to remove.
