Came back from the pub today and while filling up noticed my headlamp & spot lamps weren't working.

All indicators fine, rear light and brake light fine. Lights on the tourpak on too. Headlight fuse OK. Tried a bulb in the connector and nothing.

No power at the actual connector behind the headlamp.

I thought a newer one wouldn't give these troubles.

Has anyone got a can of petrol?
 
Check the rotary switch that the key goes in the feed passes through it which may explain no lights 🤷🏻‍♂️

All the brake relay does the brake light which is working.

I have a spare so I'll swap it out tomorrow.

Watchman everything else is working there's no power at the loom that attaches to the headlight

Lighting Relay No16, in the diagram , not No17 the brake relay, I just used the same picture from the previous post regards relays.
 
The relay is another bog awful micro relay. It's longer than the starter relay but has the same pin pattern
 
Seriously well done there is a nice sense of satisfaction to solve an issue and now you know glide looms inside out your the man…with_glasses
