They are a bitch to keep on top of. I just gave up. They never corroded or anything just weren't polished and let the bike down compared to everything else. If I had another (which I well might, cos I loved it) I'd seriously consider chrome powder coat.

Powder coating/Painting is the answer or swap them out for the later Fat Bob wheels like I did;

I understand that Black is not everyone's bag.
