Microsoft Windows 10 free upgrade

Re: Microsoft Windows 10 free upgrade

If you have Windows 7 or 8 on your PC and are online, you will see or soon will, a windows icon at the bottom right corner. Click on it and a dialog box opens up.Click on the link to accept Windows 10 and a box tells you; you will be informed at the end of July to download it.I have both a touchscreen and fingerpad notebook and will install first on the touchscreen model which I think it would mainly cater for. Can't be any worse than 8.1 but, when using them all the time, you become accustomed to it.Hey, its free.

I always work on the principal that nothings free, especialy with Microsoft. I want to find out what the catch is before i hit the button.

Re: Microsoft Windows 10 free upgrade

Windows 10 is the final version of Windows. I've been on it (not on my main machine) for a year now and it's bearable; better than 8, worse than 7.

The intention is for Microsoft to provide free Upgrades for 'life', like Apple do with Macs
