Half the fairing has to be removed to get to the battery on some BMWs. I guess they feel confident it's not going to conk out!

and don't get me going over the marketing BS that 2 spark plugs per cylinder is progress either!

To be fair Rick, it's probably more environmental BS than marketing BS

Remember decades ago the Sportster at one point had twin plugs per head, supposed to increase performance, all BS, just cost twice as much to maintain instead of 2 plugs, a set of 4 was required. Yet the fastest Sportster ever made was the XR1200 with 90bhp as standard and that had the standard set up of one plug per cylinder.
