Pre-Evo-Party in Germany

On saturday I joined a Pre-Evo-Party just some miles away from my home. Great event, nice people, perfect organization, and great bikes. OK, the rule was only pre 1985 bikes, but when I looked at some of the bikes, all parts (frame, engine, Trans etc) were much newer, even when they looked like a pan...a lot S&S engines, 6 speed trannys and certainly more rigids frames than HD ever made. Nevertheless most looked just great!

Unrestored survivor! The color is pure porn!! I'm seriously thinking about building an E-Glide! This bike looks so great!

Great pix, thanks. They could have been taken 20yrs ago too....Shovel customs are always inventive in Europe/Scandinavia

Also thanks from me Jens, I can imagine some of our club would like to attend that event. The rat chop did remind me of the rat bikes that often used to appear in Easyriders years back!

Yes.. 1972 Sparkling Burgundy... pics of that Glide were on FB, prompting several people to say I had been at P E P ... I had to look twice to be sure it wasn't mine as I'm sure I was at Shovel Fest UK at the weekend... LOL
