Road King Classic 2002 - Replacement Battery

I am struggling to cross reference a replacement against an HD original battery.

It was originally a HD part number 66-010-97D, which has now been replaced by HD 66000212A. The local dealer wants £229.97 for this new replacement.

Does anyone know of a replacement manufacturer that would be suitable?

Many thanks.

Saw this Cross reference for H-D Batteries. Click HERE for this.
Click HERE for Tayna who supply them, a lot cheaper than H-D. They have a 2 Year Warranty too.
Check Dimensions of your existing Battery before purchase.
Good Luck.

Your opening sentence suggests you have done a battery in just one year?

I would make a plan to find out why the battery keeps failing and find a solution to rectify it, unless you know, especially at £230 a pop!
I missed that Andy. Yes, time to get the Workshop Manual and Multimeter out and check the Charging Circuit.

Thank you both, sorry about the wording. I have deleted the first line as it was misleading  I had this happen on my other bike previously, so been there before. Thanks for the cross reference that was very helpful.:)
