seo on php pages

Anyone have knowledge of setting seo with php pages? I know google is full of articles but I'd like some help from a human!

what are you trying to achieve?
I know you want better search listings :)
But are you just trying to improve your content and coding on your pages?

This is one area I leave to the guys that designed my web sites. They set up the structure and do the basic coding and I have a dashboard to do the content updates etc.


After that just pinging updates regularly keeps it at the top of the search listings.

It's complex Phil, you need to some form of redirect to convert numbers into valid words. Best left to your web designers

I have 3 PHP developers working for me here as well as Developers in Germany and Bedford all working on our PHP sites.
If you have a specific question and maybe SEO friendly urls are part of it I can ask them direct and possibly put you in direct contact with them and see if there is anything they can do to help

Thanks for all the replies but after wasting a morning reading article after article I've now bought a bucket of smoke and a bag of mirrors which is all you need apparently to make it all work.

I've taken advice and have a "man that can" who will.

It's an over-rated obsession in comparison to have lots of regularly updated useful and interested content that other people link to from other website.

You need someone who specialises in SEO. It's quite a complex and expensive area. Around ?100 per keyword from a proper firm (not one of these quick fix sites).
