Silencers

Both my silencers blew of out on a run should there be a gasket on the header pipe to where the the silencer connects ,if so what type do i buy , bikes a 95 fxdwg . Tia

Hi.

Have a look here to identify the part you need.

The only gaskets are No 16 : exhaust port gasket; 65324-83B and No 28
the exhaust interconnect gasket; 65830-03.

I have a 98 FXSTC and there is no gasket, just the clamp (No : 14) joining the exhaust to the silencers.
