Sport Glide Rear Shock Removal

I've just ordered a Ohlins rear shock with the remote adjuster, what are they like to swap out?
I see the shock on the softails that don't have the remote adjuster (Low Rider) are dead easy but with the remote there's talk of having to remove the battery etc...
Thanks in advance.

Thanks
Good video but doesn't actually show the removal, no mention of battery removal which is good.

There is a better YouTube vid, search Softail shock removal….

you don’t need to remove battery.
you will find the torx50 that holds the rear of the shock is VERY tight. I needed a breaker bar, and again for the front mount bolt.
all the rest was easy……

I've now done this, the only issue I had was the std spring was too soft for me and would hit the bump stops a lot so I fitted an uprated spring and now all good.
