Donning the waterproofs at Scotch corner, the weather continued to be awful over the A66, M6 and onto the rally site. On arrival the beaming smiles from the lakes lads and lasses made the journey worth while. Though down on numbers this likely due to the weather it was a typical Lakes rally. Good site and catering.
Excellent bands on both the Friday and Saturday. 5th Element on Saturday were really good and the dance floor was packed right up to the end. members roaring more, more brought the excellent band back on for another couple of covers.
Members embraced the ginger Eyebrow tash and beard kits handed out by the R4 team and many humorous photos were taken.
We took best regional turnout and Stevo won a special raffle prize thanks to the ingenuity of Sarg. which went down really well.
Sadly the region suffered catastrophic damage to one of their gazebo's in the gale force winds.
Robs team put on a great weekend so please support the clubs regions rallies.
