Here's a first for me - the customer had a Twin Cooled CVO 110 that had twice dumped all of the coolant on the road leaving him stranded in Europe and having to be recovered. He asked me to get rid of all of the water cooling stuff and turn it into a basic air cooled engine with a performance bump. He got what he wanted - over 130 ft/lbs of torque and 121 HP! A welded crank, gear driven cams and no plumbing ensures 100% reliability ...

Smart guy. When shopping for my touring bike I never once considered the twin-cooled versions .... totally because of the complexity and potential for ''issues''. I guess that's why I never bought a TWIN cam either. I'm still a bit edgy about ABS and all the sensors, but that's progress......funnily enough, fuel injection was never a negative for me. I think I'm starting the regard carbs in the same way as I disdain points ignition. I cannot recall ever hearing/reading about Delphi system issues on any H-D of the last 18yrs.
