Hi peeps,

I am looking to get a new set of boots for my 08 Fat Bob.
(Hoping that Avon Venoms will fit)

Where around here, Wyvern area, do people recommend for buying tyres and getting them fitted?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Where to get Tyres in Wyvern area?

Depends on the level of service you want:

1. All American (just outside Kidderminster) and Second City (Bromsgrove) will do a full service
2. Biker's Discount Centre will do a fit to a loose wheel

Or you could get recovered to a main dealer and pay ?300

And then drink a whole box of wine eh Mutters , anyway back to the subject.
Sorry can only recomend what Mutleys mentioned + shop about.

Dave Melling for the tyres, I think he's got an ebay shop, otherwise Hawgste will have a contact number etc, discounted to hell with good postal service.

All American will fit them for a consideration

"If we are doing the Talgarth weekend you have got to get the garden sorted first!" :frown:

You need to "GET SOME NUTS" boy :439:

Tyres arrived today, getting them fitted at All American tomorrow morning.:)
(Nuts are still in her vice though, so will not make the cafe Saturday :frown:)

Re: Where to get Tyres in Wyvern area?

If you've gone for the venom/cobra combination you will not be disappointed!

Re: Where to get Tyres in Wyvern area?

Yes Dodzi went for the Venom/Cobra combination, as per your recommendation on another thread.

08 FXDF Fat Bob
Avon Venom MT90B16 74H (Front)
Avon Cobra 180/70R16 77H (Rear)

Off touring around Europe for 3 weeks at the end of May will let you know how the tyres did when I get back. :D

Re: Where to get Tyres in Wyvern area?

Don't forget the increase in pressures. Got about 5000 on mines now - just starting to flat off on the rear ever so slightly (must have 2000+ miles left I recon). Right over on the edge of the tyre on both front and rear so must be gripping nicely to inspire that confidence. No noticeable chicken line and the fronts getting that nicley scrubbed look right to the edge! Only issue I had was a oopsy on wet tram tracks in Dussel-fucking-dorf!

;)
