If you're not going to the R19 camping weekend at the Barge Inn Pewsey or the R12 One Nighter at The Black Cock you might fancy a long ride up to the Yorkshire. Myself and Steve H are heading that way on the Friday morning

We’re travelling up Thursday, meeting Nev and Lisa and camping in the Peak District Thursday night. Coming back via Matlock on the Sunday, with an overnight in Matlock and then leisurely ride back on Monday.

Despite the torrential rain on Friday morning Steve H and I made good progress 'oup north' , after 170 miles the rain finally stopped as we got off the M1 and headed for the A roads around Nottingham. Arrived around 1:30pm so it took us about 6 hours, good to see Glen and crew on the gate at the Molton Rugby club. Nice venue with a great selection of food from the club kitchen and the band on Friday was superb. Saturday ride out was across the North Yorkshire Moors which was stunning in the sunshine. I spent most of Saturday outside the clubhouse talking bollocks so didn't really see the band. Ride home Sunday was glorious sunshine
