just to inform you, our AGM is set for last Wednesday of March 2023, please bring your membership cards to vote.
If anyone wants to stand for any of the posts.
Rep, Ass Rep, Secretary, Treasurer, please send your details to Hovver.
 
IS there anybody out there, our region page is like being in outer space, no one seems to use it.
If anyone has any input to our AGM please post it, if anyone would like to stand as Rep or Assistant rep, Treasurer, secretary.

Hi everyone, can we have some ideas or suggestions for our AGM please.
Is anyone putting up their hand for Rep or Assistant Rep.
I intend to step down as assistant rep, so Chris will need a hand.
Anyone for a committee and any ideas for a change of regular venue for the meetings.
Let's get more members north of our region involved, instead of the same old.
Darlington is to far south for a lot of members.
Should we not be a little more central.
Ideas please.

I agree Bob. Even though it is convenient for me, Darlington is not central to our region and somewhere further north for our meetings would be more suitable. As for our rally...that's not even within our region.

Also, I would be more than happy - delighted even - to hand over my role at the regional AGM.

We'll Nicky, let's hope some others put their hands up.
 
I'd suggest making the Dun Cow, (or somewhere else more central to the region) an additional meeting point mid month, maybe just a social gathering as the ones were last year. If that gets way better attendance than the Darlo meeting, then mebbe that would drive a move for the main meeting. If it dies on it's arse it's just 'nothing ventured, nothing gained innit'? Mebbe a weekend lunchtime meet would suit more folks. I know I often work late so can't get out of an evening. Just a thought. See y'all next Weds.
