Years ago in kent there was a spate of shoguns going off drives using the same lorries as police use in london .
Even a cover on a bike or car will deter most opportunist thieves :wink:

Chains have come on a long way in recent years. Good quality ones are now case hardened high quality steel which cannot be cut so easy with a bolt cutter as in the video. The idea is to slow down the thief and make it more hassle to nick. The more commotion there is the more chance of getting caught, especial on the front of your house.
But If some one really wants to nick you bike they will, regardless of what you do to try and secure it.
