LED indicators, do i still need a load balancer?

happened to be talking with a Master Tech yesterday about various things bike related....

the topic of the Heinz LEDS on the missus bike came up. He confirmed that in his experience some do require an additional load balancer as the amperage being pulled from very low amp LEDS causes the BCM to think there is a draw issue. It can also throw brake light codes in its confusion (speaking from his experience of fitting various brands)
