THoughts on a 'cheap' XR1200

Nice looking bike giving me food for thought after my op this week as going to need something lighter (y)

In case anyone is still following this one.
I actually bought an XR. Really enjoying it so far (when I get the chance to escape for a ride, that is)
No problem with the seat height, being a bit of a shorthouse at 5'7" ish, its absolutely fine. I'm surprised at how comforrtabe it is too, no numb arse after a couple of hours in the saddle.

Truly a fantastic engine the sporty

Looking at a 04 1200 shortly once ops over and i can see my limits weight wise
A sporty is a great bike, if i had one now i would probably of managed to ride this year , sadly ive not been able too ride , once i had my op and recovered i should be back up and out and about the roadking is just too heavy for ,me at the moment

I've mentioned this before (and maybe I should keep quiet as I can see me needing one in time..?) that the 1200T "touring" Sportie could be a great answer to members facing weight issues - it has panniers, a screen, the bigger 17litre tank, thicker seat and only lacks a rack. Chatted to a couple of members with them and got encouraging replies.
